#Rocktoberfest takes place at FREEDOM PARK, Old Prison ground, Broad street, Lagos Island. Freedom Park is along the popular Hospital road, by Campbell street.

For those of you that have made up your minds and are counting down to October 24, we’ve put together some directions to help you figure out your route by public transportation.

From Obalende:

It is along the same road you find CMS Grammar School, City Hall, St. Nicholas Hospital, Catholic Cathedral Church – if you turn right off TBS from Moloney street, Obalende and drive/walk straight on.

From CMS:

When you arrive on Marina/CMS, if you are not on the Sea side of the Expressway, you’ll have to cross to the Skyline/CBD side via the pedestrian bridge. Find your way to the Cathedral Church opposite Marina Park, you’ll find a Keke/Bus to Obalende

Depending on the Traffic situation, they may not pass the front of Freedom Park. We strongly advice you ask the driver/conductor to direct you from the junction you dropped off.

From Oshodi:

Obalende/CMS can be boarded on the Bridge, under it or via BRT Buses. Wherever you drop, please refer to the reference above.

From Ilupeju:

You can get Obalende or CMS from either Ojuelegba, Oshodi, Yaba or take a Keke to Town Planning/Anthony (Depending on the bus-stop that is close to you)

From Ogba:

The best route to go is via Ojota. Ojota bus is just beside OLUWOLE PARK. In the same motor park, you can find Yaba, Oshodi etc

From Agege or Ojodu:

Ojota is the best place to find Obalende/CMS

From Akute:

Aim Ojodu, Ogba, Agege or Berger.

From Ikeja:

Under the Ikeja bridge, you can find Obalende. At Conoil, you can find buses plying Yaba and Ojuelegba.

From Lekki or Victoria Island:

Just find the bus to Obalende Or CMS.

From Ikorodu or Mile 12:

Go over to Ketu/Ojota. From Ketu/Ojota, its easy to find Obalende BRT and commercial buses.

From Sango, Iyana Ipaja or Egbeda:

Target buses going to Oshodi! Once at Oshodi, board a bus to Obalende/CMS. Hop off at Obalende and you’re almost there.

From Ikotun:

Depending on the end you find yourself, either focus on Cele/Ijesha or Isolo then board Oshodi OR if you are closer to Iyana Ipaja, then find Iyana Ipaja or Egbeda. Oshodi buses are close by from Iyana Ipaja though.

From Surulere:

Aim Ojuelegba or stadium, there you’ll find Obalende/CMS OR if you are closer to Orile, board a keke to Orile. Then ask for the place you can find CMS. But that road can become very congested and we strongly advise you aim at Ojuelegba/stadium bus stop.

From Bariga:

Find your bus to Yaba. If you are at the Oworo end, then you should aim at Oworo Express bus-stops. You will easily find Obalende/CMS buses.

From Yaba:

At Yaba market bus stop, You’ll have the luxury to pick a choice bus from the many Obalende/CMS buses calling at you. T-fare can be a little high on busy periods.

From Festac:

Take a keke to Express or Mile 2. Your aim is where best to find CMS buses. At Mile 2, you’ll have the choice to either take CMS/Obalende via Oshodi (which is a longer route) OR you find Orile/CMS after the Mile 2 bridge. When you drop off at CMS (last bus stop), refer to “From CMS” above.

However, when you drop off at Obalende or CMS, some buses dont get to bus stops because of some fears. They can drop you earlier than the bus stop to your own dis-comfort. So, feel free to ask questions from a “good” face. See y’all in Lagos Island.
